Torey Carter-Conneen, BA Economics '06, CERG Accounting '07, serves as the chief executive officer of the American Society of Landscape Architects (ASLA), the 16,000-member professional association that represents landscape architects in the United States.
Hailemeskel serves as the digital director and communications associate for former President Barack Obama and former First Lady Michelle Obama. In this role, she brings almost a decade of experience working in various positions in communications, digital, and public policy.
Max served as the vice president of the George Mason Economics Society, worked as a learning assistant for calculus courses, played viola in the university’s concert orchestra and studied abroad at the University of Oxford.
Austin excelled academically in Economic History, a course that intertwined his passion for economics and history. This fascinating course provided him with insights into how economic forces drive societal change over time. To further enrich his understanding about economics of historical Japan, he undertook a summer internship in Tokyo, Japan, where he immersed himself in the Japanese language and culture.
