Do you have a particular standout course or professor from your time as an undergraduate student?

International Economics with Professor Nick Wilson was my favorite class. It made me passionate about the field and gave me valuable insights into global economics.

What activities were you involved in during your time at Mason that impacted you the most?

I had the opportunity to intern with the US Department of the Treasury in the Sanctions Economics Analysis Division. This experience was incredibly valuable.Learning directly from experts in the field was an enriching experience that solidified my interest in pursuing a career related to economic analysis and policy-making.

Reflecting on your time at Mason, what is one piece of advice you would give a student who is just starting off on their Mason journey?

Reflecting on my time at Mason, if I were to offer one piece of advice to a student starting their journey here, it would be to actively seek diverse experiences. Engage with different clubs, courses, and opportunities available. Embrace challenges as they often lead to personal growth and new perspectives.

What is your next step?

I am planning on pursuing employment in the federal government or a similar organization doing meaningful work related to policy-making and international economics. I hope to apply my skills and passion for economics to contribute meaningfully to such initiatives.
