Prior to joining George Mason University's Department of Economics, Ms. Getsey Bernier's experience spanned higher education, study abroad/international education, international economic development, international trade, program management in private sector and non-profit organizations, youth environmental and conservation initiatives, national campus safety campaigns, academic success coaching, and equestrian sports photojournalism.

Recognized as one of George Mason University's "Top Ten" Academic Advisors of the Year:  2022, 2023, 2024

Ms. Getsey Bernier is highly proficient in French and has life experience, travel, and work experience in over thirteen countries in Asia, Europe, Africa, and Latin America.
