Brian is a fourth-year Economics PhD student and Mercatus PhD Fellow. He earned his BA in Economics from the University of Virginia, graduating in 2022. Brian's research focuses on the economics of nonprofits, Smithian Political Economy, and the interaction between informal and formal institutions.

Education

Brian earned his MA in Economics from George Mason University in 2024, and earned his BA in Economics from the University of Virginia in 2022.
