Anna Claire is originally from Alabama and a graduate of Samford University. She is a PhD fellow with the Mercatus Center and a research assistant to Professor Tyler Cowen. She is also a graduate fellow with the Hayek Program for Advanced Study in Philosophy, Politics, and Economics. Anna Claire is passionate about using economic theory to unpack questions and puzzles encountered in everyday life. Her research centers on the relationship between economic processes and social institutions such as family.
