The Interdisciplinary Center for Economic Science (ICES) at George Mason University will host the inaugural conference on Theory and Experiments in Monetary Economics (TEME).

Organized by Daniel Houser, Cesar Martinelli and Daniela Puzzello, the TEME conference is sponsored in part by Journal of Economic Behavior & Organization (JEBO), which will also publish a special issue focused on “Theoretical and Experimental Monetary Economics.” In order to encourage the exchange of ideas among participants, the conference will include three keynote addresses and a dozen plenary sessions spread over two days. The purpose of the conference and special issue is to provide a forum to discuss frontier research related to the use of experimental methods in exploring and developing monetary theory and macroeconomic monetary policy.

TEME 2019 will be held September 27-28, 2019
