The Department of Institutional Economics in Prague is offering an intensive course from March 14-18 on Adam Smith and The Theory of Moral Sentiments. This is a unique opportunity to delve into the central and even mysterious ideas of a work known for its complexity and subtlety.

Daniel Klein and Charlotta Stern will offer a one-week course on Adam Smith’s moral theory. Klein will lead five meetings on The Theory of Moral Sentiments, and Stern will give two lectures on using Smith’s ideas to understand the superiority of voluntary organizations over governmental organizations.
