The reading group meets five Fridays a semester, from 11:00 AM - 12:30 PM, in Buchanan Hall D180 (in person only, an online option is not available).

This term (Spring 2026) we will be reading Bernard Bailyn's The Ideological Origins of the American Revolution.  The page numbers listed below are taken from the Fiftieth Anniversary Edition linked here.  Page numbers may differ if a different edition is used. 

A few copies of the book are available for graduate students.  Interested students should write to ematson@mercatus.gmu.edu.
