Cowen's New Book Draws Attention, Sparks Debate

George Mason University economist Tyler Cowen published his latest book, The Great Stagnation: How America Ate All The Low-Hanging Fruit of Modern History, Got Sick, and Will (Eventually) Feel Better, on Jan. 25, 2011 as an e-book available for download in Amazon.com's Kindle store for $3.99. His work has drawn much attention, including reviews and commentary.

The Washington Post's Ezra Klein authored a long, comprehensive review of the book, asking and answering questions Cowen presents in the book. David Brooks of the New York Times uses the concepts in The Great Stagnation to create and discuss a fictional example. Forbes.com's Nick Schulz reviewed the book for the site's Economics 2.0 blog.
