Klein on COVID death rate in Sweden

Klein and coauthors have published a paper showing that “dry tinder” and several other special factors explain most of the out-sized Covid death toll in Sweden, compared to other Nordic countries. “Dry tinder” is a forest-fire metaphor to clarify how previous flu seasons affect the 2020 death toll.
