Tyler Cowen to Speak on the European Financial Crisis

The Interdisciplinary Center for Economic Science in the Department of Economics
will host its second Economics Community Forum on Tuesday, Feb. 7, featuring
economics professor Tyler Cowen.
Cowen will speak on “What Has Gone Wrong with Europe?” beginning at 7:30 p.m. in
the Student Union Building II Ballroom.
Cowen is the Holbert C. Harris Chair of Economics and general director of the
Mercatus Center. He also is one of the authors of the economics blog Marginal
Revolution and writes a column on economics for the New York Times.
The lecture is free and open to the public, and refreshments will be served.
