O. Kate Scott, MBA, MEd serves as the associate director for the George Mason University Center for Economic Education.
Prior to joining George Mason University, Kate spent six years in career & technical education teaching the Business Management & Administration career pathway. During her tenure, Kate worked extensively with the Mississippi Council on Economic Education's Master Teacher of Entrepreneurship program. Prior to her years in education, Kate was employed in the healthcare administration industry where she developed, managed, and conducted multi-level employee training programs.
In addition to attaining master's degrees in both business and education, Kate has completed 20 post-graduate hours in economics. She is a certified Master Teacher of Economics, Master Teacher of Entrepreneurship, and W!se Personal Finance Educator.
