Health policy, health care quality, social determinants of health

Matt Baker is a health economist focusing on hospital policy and payment, and holds a PhD from George Mason University in Economics. Primary research interests include issues related to health equity and quality improvement. His professional work includes benchmarks reports, policy impact models, and research to support regulatory decision making. His joint work has been presented at research conferences and published in Health Affairs, Academic Medicine, and other leading health care journals.
