Please join us on George Mason University's campus on April 7, 2018, for our first annual colloquium. Registration and general meeting information will be available January 2018. Attendance is open to anyone. Participation is open to graduate students who can apply to present dissertation or thesis research; undergraduate students who can apply to present poster research presentations; and any researcher who would like to present during a lightning round session.

Make Your Own Damn Sandwich

"Make Your Own Damn Sandwich" raises awareness about gender inequality through stations where participants learn about gender-based issues such as the wage gap, consent and sexual violence, intersectionality, the gender binary and sexuality spectrum. By the end of the event, the participants will make their own sandwich, challenging the sexist joke that women should "go make me a sandwich" or "go back to the kitchen".
